Periodontal Therapy

• Many patients come with “ Gummy smiles” with visibly big gum exposures.
• Gum contouring or crown lengthening is done to correct such smiles & can be done on single or multiple teeth.
• Many a times crown lengthening is required for teeth which have short height before they are crowned so as to gain adequate support from such teeth.

Flap surgeries

• Plaque or tartar present on teeth & gums in large quantities is a common problem leading to bleeding gums, loose teeth, swollen gums & bad breath.
• Flap surgeries basically involve thorough cleaning of these debris collected beneath the gums so as to restore the gums back to healthy state.

• Plaque & tartar when present in moderate amounts can be removed by ultrasonic cleaning procedures followed by polishing of teeth.
