Smile Designing Treatment
Smile Designing can be done in two ways:
Composites( Tooth coloured filling material)
It is basically a single sitting procedure for correction of minor discolourations, gaps, spots & minor chipping of teeth.
Laminates & Veneers
These are thin tooth coloured shells fixed on front side of the teeth which make the teeth so natural looking that it becomes difficult to diffrentiate from adjacent natural teeth. These are used to correct more severe smile problems dealing with gaps, overlapping or crowding of teeth.
Protocols
- Smile designing consultation is done followed by intra-oral photographs & models of existing teeth for the planning of treatment.
- Showcase of smile makeover is done on the models with tooth colored wax & demonstrated to the patient.
- Preparation of teeth & impression making followed by placement of ceramic dental laminates/ veneers is done.
